Meet The Bandits

I was born in a cross-fire hurricane. (Apologies to the Stones) I played in my high school band in Sebring, Florida and then attended the University of Miami on a music scholarship, playing trumpet in the UM “Band of the Hour”. While in college I also began playing drums in an effort to expand my opportunities for gigs (Almost every band has a drummer - not every band has a trumpet player - ergo, if I played drums I'd get more work). It actually happened! Following graduation, I entered the military and served in the 282nd Army Band during my enlistment. Upon discharge from the service I returned to Miami, Florida. While pursuing a career in business, I performed with a number of different musical groups including a symphonic band, jazz bands, small combos and a German "Oompah Band". Now a resident of Boulder, Colorado, I have performed with the Boulder Concert Band, The Boulder Big Band, The Boulder Valley Brass, The Joe Diamo Big Band and of course THE BANDITS. My influences encompass a fairly broad spectrum including Joe Morello, Micky Hart, Mick Fleetwood and Max Weinberg. THE BANDITS are a very collaborative and genuinely supportive group of individuals. I really enjoy working with this talented group. Rock On!
